加拿大遊學 Thomas分享：KGIC生活

去年底(2010年)至加拿大念書選擇Surrey(素里)地區KGIC展開遊學語言學習生活

Thomas提到雖然KGIC的Surrey校區韓國學生多了些但台灣學生很少只有2位唷!

對英語學習上倒是沒甚麼大礙反正聽不懂他們再說啥!! 通通都要用英文溝通

Surrey雖然比起溫哥華Downtown(市中心)來說沒這麼熱鬧

小編想就像是台北市比起淡水,九份吧!!^^

如果以住南部的Thomas來看應該是高雄市 VS 墾丁吧!!! 哈!^^

他的韓國同學們常常說很無聊覺得 Surrey是個養老的地方

對Thomas來說他倒是住得很習慣

 

Thomas提到自己一個人住三餐要自己準備

這對在台灣很少下廚或未曾下廚的學生們可是個很大的挑戰呢!

Thomas說他最常跑到當地超市”Smart Price Food” 和華人超市“T&T大統華”

採購三餐食材與日常生活用品

Thomas還說自己廚藝上不熟練實在很擔心將房子給燒了

湯瑪士先生您實在太會開玩笑了

煮飯跟學習英文一樣多練習就對了久了生手也會變阿基師啦!! 呵呵^^

Thomas雖然沒有BLOG 但是非常樂意分享他在Surrey學校生活與活動照片

照片中的大家每個人都笑嘻嘻的想必在Surrey生活得很開心囉!

至Surrey方式

大眾交通系統(By Public Transit):

搭Skytrain(捷運) "Expo Line"線

Surrey地區有4站捷運站分別是: Scott Road (and King George Highway); Gateway (108th Avenue); Surrey Central (102nd Avenue)和King George (99th Avenue)

語言學校KGIC和西門菲沙大學SFU的Surrey校區就是在Surrey Central站下車

走路幾分鐘就會到

如果要到有名的白石鎮(White Rock)一樣在Surrey Central站下車到捷運站下方的公車站轉車

Skytrain, the region's automated light rail system's "Expo Line" comes to Surrey from Vancouver, Burnaby and New Westminster.  There are 4 Skytrain stations in Surrey at Scott Road (and King George Highway), Gateway (108th Avenue), Surrey Central (102nd Avenue) and King George (99th Avenue).  A bus exchange is located at the Surrey Central location where local buses provide service to other areas of Surrey.  Bus schedules and routes and be found on the web at http://www.translink.bc.ca/ or by calling 604-521-0400
